Indie, Motown, Folk, Soul, Jazz
Growing up in a family of musicians, Johannes was introduced to the piano, violin, and the power of singing since early childhood. His desire to reach people’s hearts with music brought him to the United States, where he developed his craft in songwriting, vocal performance and music composition and production with GRAMMY nominee Peter Eldridge, renowned jazz singers Marcelle Gauvin and Jeannie Gagné, EMMY winning songwriters Brad Hatfield and Stephen Webber, TONY award winner Bill Elliott and music producers Joe Carrier and Loudon Stearns.
As the founder of Sound Leadership and Gift A Song, he enabled more than 3.500 participants and 70 organizations worldwide to tell their stories in songs, inspiring people and organizations around the world.
With a love for lush piano ballads and a romantic vibe, Johannes observes life with a love for detail, intricately combining feelings and ideas in beautiful, often classical-infused songs. As a music producer, Johannes loves subdued, elegant harmonies and an ambivalent, uplifting sound. His music is always positive and spiritually motivating.
He is recipient of a semifinalist award by UK Songwriting Contest. Johannes has performed at venues such as The Boston Symphony Hall and festivals in Boston, and he has performed his original songs and orchestra compositions across the United States. He has produced albums for indie singer-songwriter Yicheng Wu, bringing his elegant sense of production to life.
